Seven years ago, InterfaithFamily expanded from its beginnings as an online magazine through the launch of the InterfaithFamily/Your Community Initiative (IFF/YCI). It was one of the first significant efforts to place rabbis and staff in communities around the country, focused on working exclusively on meeting the needs of interfaith families and those Jewish organizations interested in working with them.
We’ve learned so much about our work, and the needs of interfaith families, since the launch of IFF/YCI. That’s why we’re excited to announce that earlier this year, our board of directors adopted a new strategic plan that builds on the success of our on-the-ground work. In short, it’s the best of what IFF does, and allows us to focus our efforts to scale them for maximum impact.
The plan identifies four strategic priorities for future growth and focuses our resources on newly married or committed interfaith couples, and on families with young children—the areas where we believe we can make the biggest difference.
We are incredibly grateful to you for all you have done to help bring InterfaithFamily to this important moment. We hope you’ll be in touch along the way with comments and questions as we work to better serve you and your family.
