Many of us have heard the phrase “the whole megillah,” but… what’s a “megillah”?

Megillah is the Hebrew word for “scroll,” often referring to Megillat Esther, the Scroll of Esther or the Book of Esther — the story read on the holiday of Purim.

Join Sara as she shows us the Purim scroll, its features and a few fun facts as well.

And get ready to make lots of noise this Purim, each time you hear the name “Haman!”
