Are you looking for Jewish clergy for your upcoming wedding or baby naming? Seeking help on your journey to conversion? If you’re looking for guidance with a lifecycle event or to find inclusive Jewish events and meet other interfaith couples at your life stage, we’re here to help you. We are thrilled to have a Rukin Rabbinic Fellow, Rabbi Jen Lader, here in Metro Detroit to support you.

Rabbi Jen and our other Rukin Fellows throughout the U.S. and Canada offer programming for interfaith/intercultural couples and families to discuss relevant issues. We hope you’ll join Rabbi Jen for programs and workshops, which include opportunities to reflect on your backgrounds, differences and similarities and discuss your hopes, plans and dreams for the future. She is also available for one-on-one consultations and to refer you to local Jewish clergy and organizations that welcome interfaith/intercultural couples and families. Meet Rabbi Jen Lader – Rukin Rabbinic Fellow

Rabbi Jen Lader hails from Austin, Texas and has served at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Mich. since her ordination from HUC-JIR in 2012. In addition to her rabbinic portfolio, she specializes as a “youth guru,” running all teen-related endeavors and keeping up to date on the latest slang for the benefit of her elder colleagues. Rabbi Jen believes in the transformative power of a loving and open community. Her role is to connect people to each other, to guide them on their paths of self-discovery and to lengthen our chain of tradition, one link–one person–at a time. She is looking forward to learning and growing with 18Doors, and welcoming and engaging seekers with open arms.
