Have you ever gotten a Hanukkah card that really doesn’t feel inclusive of all the members of your family? Or have you gone to purchase a card for loved ones who celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas? Couldn’t find something that felt appropriate? Wish someone would create some really beautiful interfaith holiday cards already?
That’s why we teamed up with the talented team at Happy Challadays to collaborate on a new trio of cards for the holidays. This year of all years, we need to find ways to send love to our family and friends near and far. Picking up the phone or sending an email is great, but there’s nothing like getting a handcrafted card in the mail. We hope you and your family love them as much as we do! Happy everything!
Celebrating inclusion and diversity is about using the holiday season with your loved ones to create insight and awareness of other people’s customs and values. Here are a few notable approaches that will work for you:
Be sure to remember each holiday that people you know celebrate (use an address book). Prepare some nice-looking interfaith holiday cards that recognize their holiday and acknowledges their celebration. Don’t be hesitant to ask someone what holidays they celebrate.
Giving out these interfaith holiday greetings at your workplace will also be a terrific idea. Your employees will be delighted to receive one of these cards that demonstrates how appreciated they are for their hard work. It will also reinforce the fact that everyone’s voice matters and are necessary for a productive and inclusive work environment.
