Bursting with Joy! Virtual Birthing Class (Boston) – Online
September 28 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT$250
In this virtual birthing class, Certified Nurse-Midwife Sarah Kleinman will cover the birthing process and guide you through birthing practice, while Rabbi Suzie Jacobson will discuss Jewish values, ideas, and rituals around birthing, including naming ceremonies and the bris. In addition to the class sessions, a private 30 minute one-on-one session will be scheduled for each parenting unit.
This class is offered in partnership with 18Doors, and is appropriate for first time parents or as a refresher course for second (or third!) time parents. It is also a perfect supplemental course if you have taken or plan to take another birthing class. We welcome everyone at our events, and invite racially diverse and LGBTQ individuals as well as interfaith couples and families to participate in our programming. If you need any accommodations to fully participate in a program, please let us know on your registration form.

Meet Molly Kazin Marshall
As Boston’s Community Manager for the Boston Innovation Hub, it’s Molly’s passion to connect interfaith couples in the Boston area to resources and tools unlocking aspects of Jewish culture and traditions. With a passion for food and drink, Molly enjoys visiting the numerous breweries in the Boston area, plus baking and cooking at home. Kugel is one of her favorite foods, and is one of the few ways she will tolerate raisins. She especially loves hearing her friends who have never had kugel try to pronounce the word.
18Doors believes our community is enriched by the diversity of its members. We welcome everyone, and invite racially diverse and LGBTQ individuals to participate in our programming. All of our virtual programs offer automated closed captioning. If you need additional captioning support, or any other accommodations to fully participate in a program, please let us know on your registration form.
