Creating a home: Once you’ve found the perfect place, 18Doors, HMI, Maalot, Repair the World, OneTable, and Jbaby can offer ideas, connections, and resources to help you make your Jewish home (including Jew-ish, Jewish-adjacent, interfaith and multi-faith).
“Let’s Bayit: buying a house, creating a home” is an interactive evening designed to help homebuyers: individuals, couples, and growing families, in Atlanta navigate the homebuying process and make your house a home. (And, if you were wondering, bayit means “house” in Hebrew!) Join us from 6:30 – 8:30 pm on Thursday, May 18th at Ponce City Market (details available upon registration). Food and drinks will be provided (kosher options available). Attendees will be entered into a raffle for a $100 Home Depot gift card and will have the opportunity to receive a Free Financial Coaching session.

Meet Rabbi Malka Packer-Monroe
Rabbi Malka Packer-Monroe is deeply committed to helping interfaith couples and their families find deeper meaning in both their spiritual and daily lives. As a rabbi, educator, and director at 18Doors in Atlanta, she is proud to provide interfaith workshops, programming, and counseling, along with officiating weddings and baby naming ceremonies. Rabbi Packer-Monroe was ordained from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2014. She and her wife welcomed their first baby in July 2019, their second baby in April 2022, and are enjoying time together as a family.
