2020 LimmudFest: Welcoming your child’s partner from a different faith background – Online

November 15 @ 12:00 pm EST

Outside of the Orthodox community, 70% of Jews marry someone who wasn’t raised Jewish. If your child brings home a partner who is not Jewish, how can you make them feel welcome? What are some of the best ways to introduce Jewish practice without alienating the partner? Join Molly Kazin Marshall, 18Doors’ Boston Community Manager, to learn tips and tricks to get your relationship with your child’s partner of a different faith background on the right track.

Meet Molly Kazin Marshall

Molly holds a Masters in Community Development and Planning from Clark University and put those skills to use as a Recruitment Specialist for Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts prior to joining 18Doors. She now is deeply involved in the Boston area interfaith community by connecting couples to resources and tools to engage in Jewish culture and traditions. Contact Molly at molly@18doors.org.

18Doors believes our community is enriched by the diversity of its members. We welcome all families, and invite racially diverse and LGBTQ families to participate in our programming.
